eScholar Staff
ID application is rolled over to ESSY 2027. Staff who need access to LDOE data
systems (such as Edlink 360, eSER,
LEP, Edlink Ops etc) need to
be updated in eScholar staff ID for ESSY 2027.
If staff encounter below message when
they login into Edlink 360, ESER, Edlink
Ops, or LEP data systems, please contact your District’s escholar
Staff ID manager to update your staff ID for the new SY.

PersonID Office Hours session have been posted on the

Free Lunch and Medicaid Reduced Lunch and load those files into their food
service system and/or local SIS.

eScholar StaffID:

Districts
must submit their current Staff for the 2026-2027 school year (ESSY = 2027).
●
All
staff who need EdLink360, EdLinkOps, LEP, eSER, etc. access must be submitted to eScholar
StaffID for the 2026-2027 school with their MyLA username (stateuserid).
●
New
eScholar StaffID users
should request the accounts from their security coordinator or email [email protected]
What is eScholar PersonID?
The eScholar Uniq-ID system is used to
assign and maintain unique statewide student identifiers commonly referred to
as LASID which are assigned for students in early-childhood, pre-kindergarten,
kindergarten, elementary, and secondary schools. Data collected includes
demographic data for students including address information for some students
enrolled in charter schools. Public and charter schools’ students are assigned
a public LASID, while early childhood and non-public students are assigned
early childhood IDs and non-publics IDs respectively.
What is eScholar DirectMatch?
The eScholar DirectMatch system is used to match student enrollment
data against data from proxy systems (SNAP, TANF, DSNAP, Foster Care,
Medicaid-Free, Medicaid-Reduced, etc.) to determine eligibility for free lunch
and to identify students who are considered economically disadvantaged. DirectMatch also houses the Community Eligibility Provision
(CEP) which calculates the Identified Student Percentage (ISP) to determine the
school system’s eligibility to participate or continue participation in the CEP
program.
What is eScholar StaffID?
The eScholar StaffID system
is used to assign and maintain unique statewide staff identifiers commonly
referred to as StaffID. The StaffID
application works in the same way as PersonID. Users
who are familiar with PersonID will be able to apply
their knowledge when using StaffID.

Monthly Program Type Update Schedule
The
monthly program type (SNAP, TANF, DSNAP, Medicaid-Free and Medicaid Reduced)
files are expected to be loaded to DirectMatch by the
dates in the table below.

A
notice will be posted on the Announcement section of this eScholar
Support page when the files have been loaded to DirectMatch.
·
LDOE
will send an email to all DirectMatch users about the
program type files availability for matching.
·
Districts
will run their own matches in July and August; *LDOE will run the statewide
matches from September – June.
·
A
notice will also be sent through the CNP systems. To
